On 16 June 2025, Ministry of National Defense issued a press release on the latest update of the situation in the Cambodian-Thailand border area.

Cambodia intends to maintain peace and maintain its position to resolve the border issue with the Thai side through the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in a peaceful and responsible manner.
